What Your Company’s Astrology Can Tell You (That Strategy Can’t)
By Floor Buitelaar · Founder, Aligned Ambitious
Most business owners have no idea this exists. And the ones who have discovered it? They tend to go quiet about it, not because it does not work, but because it works so well they almost do not want to share it yet.
Here is the thing: your company has its own astrology. Every business that came into existence on a specific date, in a specific place, carries a unique energetic signature. And just like personal astrology can reveal how you are wired, what lights you up, and where you tend to get in your own way, company astrology can show you the same for your business.
This is not a widely used practice. Most founders never go near it. But the potential it holds is remarkable. And with AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT, you can now access this kind of analysis without booking a specialist. You just need a few pieces of information, the right prompt, and a genuine curiosity about what your business is really here to do.
Did you know?
You can use astrology to understand your company’s natural sales style, what makes it magnetic, how it grows best, and even what its deeper purpose is. Not as a replacement for strategy. As a layer underneath it that explains why certain things just work, and others never quite land, no matter how hard you push.
What Company Astrology Actually Reveals
Business astrology is the practice of reading a company’s astrological chart to understand how it moves through the world. It is not about prediction. It is about pattern recognition. About seeing the energetic architecture of your business and understanding what it is built for.
Some of the most powerful things it surfaces:
- How your company becomes magnetic: what draws the right clients and opportunities in naturally, without force
- Your natural sales and marketing style: how this business converts, attracts, and closes in a way that actually fits who you are
- The soul and purpose of the company: what it is here to do in the world, beyond the product or service
- Your growth model: whether this is a high-value low-volume business, a relationship-driven one, a visibility-led one, or something else entirely
- Timing: when to launch, when to pull back, what the next 90 days are actually good for
- Where friction keeps showing up and why it makes total sense from the chart
People who use it often say the same thing: it is so spot on. Not because astrology tells you something you never knew, but because it gives language to things you have always sensed. That feeling that your business thrives on relationships, not funnels. That certain periods feel effortless and others feel like wading through concrete. The chart tends to explain all of it.
“It doesn’t tell you what to do. It tells you who your business is. And once you know that, the strategy writes itself.”
Step 1: Generate Your Company’s Astrology Chart
To do this, you need a chart. The good news is that generating one is free and takes about five minutes.
What you need
Choose the right date
Pick the date that feels most significant for your business. This could be the date of your Chamber of Commerce registration, the date your company was officially incorporated at the notary, or the date you first went live and launched publicly.
You will know which date to use. It is the one that feels like the real beginning. When in doubt, go with the date that marks when your company truly came into existence in the world.
Also note the location (where you or your company were based on that date) and ideally the time. If you do not have an exact time, use noon as a default.
The tool
Use astro.com with a free account
Go to astro.com and create a free account. Once logged in, go to “My Astro” and add a new chart. When it asks for the type, select Event rather than a person. Enter your company’s date, location, and time.
Once generated, note down the key placements: the Sun sign, Moon sign, Ascendant, and the signs of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. You can copy this as text or screenshot it. This is the raw material for your analysis.
Step 2: Build Your AI Business Astrology Advisor
Now for the part most people do not know is possible. The following prompt turns Claude or ChatGPT into a dedicated business astrology advisor. It is built to be strategic and grounded, not vague or overly spiritual. It explains its reasoning, separates interpretation from business logic, and gives you answers you can actually use.
Open a new conversation in Claude or ChatGPT. Paste the prompt below as your opening message (or add it as a custom instruction or system prompt). Then paste your chart placements and ask your first question.
Your Business Astrology Advisor Prompt: copy and paste this
You are a Business Astrology Advisor. Your role is to help founders, leaders, consultants, and business owners understand their company through astrology in a strategic, practical, and business-oriented way. You analyze company charts, founder charts, launch charts, transits, timing, positioning, growth patterns, sales dynamics, leadership transitions, offers, visibility, partnerships, and strategic decisions through the lens of astrology. Your advice must always be grounded, clear, and useful for business decision-making. Core principles: - Use astrology as symbolic timing and energetic patterning, not as certainty. - Never present astrological interpretation as a guaranteed outcome. - Always explain which astrological placement, transit, house, or aspect your interpretation comes from. - Clearly separate astrology-based interpretation from practical business reasoning. - Do not invent business facts. - If information is missing, state what is unknown and make only careful assumptions. - If something is speculative, say so clearly. - Avoid vague spiritual language. - Do not over-spiritualize. - Keep the tone strategic, direct, intelligent, and usable. When analyzing a company, always structure your answer as follows: 1. Astrological Diagnosis Explain the key chart signatures: - Sun: core identity and business function - Moon: emotional driver, internal need, client resonance - Ascendant: external image, market perception, growth style - Mercury: communication, messaging, sales language - Venus: attraction, money, value perception, brand magnetism - Mars: execution, sales action, operational drive - Jupiter: growth potential - Saturn: constraints, maturity, responsibility, structure - Outer planets: deeper collective themes, disruption, transformation, long-term evolution 2. How This Shows Up in Business Translate the astrology into practical business patterns: - positioning - sales style - client attraction - growth rhythm - leadership dynamics - offer structure - operational needs - risks and blind spots - decision-making patterns 3. Concrete Strategic Advice Give clear business recommendations: - what to focus on - what to stop doing - what to structure - what to communicate - how to sell - how to improve conversion - how to grow in a way that fits the chart 4. Timing and Transits When asked about timing: - describe the energetic theme of the period - explain the relevant transits - give practical recommendations for that period - never guarantee outcomes - use clear time windows 5. Business Growth Pattern Always identify whether the company is more naturally: - volume-based - high-value / low-volume - relationship-driven - ecosystem-based - visibility-driven - referral-based - productized - advisory / consulting-based - recurring revenue-oriented - wave-based - slow-compounding Do not recommend the same strategy for every company. The growth model must come from the chart. 6. Sales and Conversion When analyzing sales: - distinguish attraction, trust, clarity, urgency, and conversion - identify where the chart naturally supports sales - identify where the chart weakens decision-making - give practical closing, proposal, pipeline, or positioning advice - avoid generic marketing advice 7. Positioning When helping with positioning: - translate the chart into market language - avoid purely astrological wording in client-facing messaging - create positioning that feels commercially usable - explain which placements support the positioning 8. Style Write in a clear, strategic, direct, grounded tone. Be practical, not mystical. Use business language. Use astrology as the diagnostic layer, not as decoration. Important response format: Start with: "Astrological diagnosis" Then: "How this shows up in business" Then: "Concrete next steps" If comparing multiple companies, always separate them clearly and never merge their charts.
“The more honest context you give it: your industry, your challenges, your growth stage, the more specific and useful the analysis becomes.”
Save Your Chart Once and Never Enter It Again
Here is the part that makes this truly useful over time. Instead of pasting your chart data into every new conversation, you can attach it once and have it available permanently. Both Claude and ChatGPT let you do this, in slightly different ways.
In Claude
Use a Project
In Claude, create a new Project and add your business astrology advisor prompt as the project instructions. Then paste your company chart data at the end of those instructions. Every conversation you start within that Project will automatically have your chart available, no re-entering needed. You can update the chart any time by editing the project instructions directly.
In ChatGPT
Use a Custom GPT
In ChatGPT, build a Custom GPT using the prompt above as your system instructions. Paste your chart data at the end of the instructions block. Once configured, every conversation with that GPT starts with your chart already loaded. You can update the chart by going back into the GPT editor and editing the instructions.
Both options mean your advisor already knows your company the moment you open a new conversation. You just ask your question and go.
Questions Worth Asking Your Advisor
Once your advisor is set up, start with one or two of these. Paste your chart placements first, then ask:
- Full analysis: “Here are my company’s astrological placements: [paste your chart data]. Give me a full diagnosis, including my natural growth model, sales style, and what makes this business magnetic.”
- Soul and purpose: “Based on this chart, what is the deeper purpose or soul of this company? What is it here to do?”
- Magnetism and attraction: “How does this company naturally attract the right clients and opportunities? What makes it magnetic and where does it need to stop pushing?”
- Sales and marketing: “What is the natural sales and marketing style for this business? Where does the chart support conversion and where does it create friction?”
- Timing: “I am planning a launch in [month]. What does the chart say about this timing? What transits are relevant?”
- Current period: “What are the key themes for my business right now, and what should I focus on or step back from in the next 90 days?”
- Positioning: “How should I position this company in the market based on the chart? What language fits the Ascendant and Venus placement?”
Go One Layer Deeper: Add Your Personal Chart
Your company has its own astrology. But so do you. And as the founder, CEO, or leader, the relationship between your personal chart and your company’s chart is one of the richest things you can explore.
You can generate your own personal chart using the same tool: astro.com with a free account. This time, instead of selecting “Event,” select “Person” and enter your date, place, and time of birth. Note the same key placements: Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn.
Once you have both charts, add your personal placements to your advisor alongside the company chart. Then ask questions like:
- Alignment: “Here is my personal chart: [your placements]. Here is my company chart: [company placements]. How well are they aligned, and where do I naturally support or create friction for the business?”
- Leadership style: “Based on my personal chart, what is my natural leadership style and how does it interact with the company’s energy?”
- Founder fit: “Where does my chart reinforce the company’s strengths, and where might I be the bottleneck without realising it?”
- Personal timing: “What transits am I personally moving through right now, and how does that affect how I should be showing up in the business?”
- Sales and visibility: “Based on my personal chart, how do I naturally sell and show up publicly? Where does that support or conflict with the company’s natural sales style?”
This is where it gets genuinely fascinating. Many founders discover that what feels like a business problem is actually a personal energetic pattern showing up in the company, or vice versa. The chart gives you language for that too.
One More Thing: This Is Not a Replacement for an Astrologer
Working with an AI advisor gives you a genuinely powerful starting point. It can surface patterns, name what you have been sensing, and give you a strategic framework drawn from the chart. What it cannot fully replicate is the depth and nuance of a session with a skilled human astrologer who knows your business and asks the right questions over time.
Think of this tool as ongoing guidance. Something you return to throughout the journey. When you are about to make a big decision, heading into a new quarter, rethinking your offer, or trying to understand why a certain period felt so difficult. You bring the question, the chart provides the context, and you integrate it with everything else you know about your business.
If at some point you want to go deeper, working with a professional business astrologer is absolutely worth it. This prompt gives you a solid foundation for that conversation too.
Most people will never try this. They will keep optimizing the same strategy, wondering why some things flow and others do not. You do not have to be one of them. Your company already has its own unique signature. It has had it since the day it came into existence. Now you have a way to read it.
